I am absolutely in love with the effects of cold exposure therapy.
A few years ago I discovered Wim Hof, "The Iceman."
He believes what he is capable of, anyone can learn...
He has had multiple records related to cold exposure including: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle barefoot, and standing in a container while covered with ice cubes for more than 112 minutes!!!!!
Since 2019... I have only taken cold showers. I don't even think about it anymore, I just do it.
Yes, even in the winter time.
Even after running a half marathon in January with frozen fingers and toes, (this was maybe the one regrettable cold shower.)
BUT the benefits are real!!!
Increased energy, boosts your immune system, reduces inflammation, aids in sleeping better, increases sports performance/recovery, improves metabolism, decreases stress, improves creativity, boosts endorphins, COPD management, migraine relief, post-treatment lyme disease syndrome, lowers your blood pressure, fibromyalgia relief, arthritis relief, autoimmune disease relief, and overall health improvements.

One of my favorite things to do every day is take a hot sauna or steam, for 15-25 minutes, 160 degrees, and then take a cold shower. Or jump in a natural body of water! Find a spring, lake, creek, ocean, whatever is near you, and jump right in! Your soul will be wide awake!
