The Medical Medium, Anthony William's, "Cleanse to Heal" is transformative. His 3:6:9 cleanse heals sufferers for anxiety, depression, acne, eczema, lyme, gut problems, brain fog, weight issues, migraines, bloating, vertigo, psoriasis, cysts, fatigue, pros, fibroids, UTI, endometriosis & autoimmune. WOW.
I completed the simplified 3:6:9 9 day cleanse. I must say, it is the most I have ever cooked in my life, but I am so grateful I did it. I will take what I learned from doing this cleanse and continue to utilize aspects in my life.
Anthony William writes about how people do intermittent fasting, BUT they do it drinking coffee... Dehydrating the body, wearing down the adrenals, pumping more cortisol. This leads to burnout. Every morning during the cleanse, I would drinking 16 oz of lemon water, then my celery juice. The amount of celery juice continues to go up during the 9 day period. 16 oz, 24 oz, 32 oz.
Something that I didn't realize but makes so much sense... When you are hungry you are in fight or flight, sympathetic dominant, your cortisol levels go up, resting and digestion do not happen, adrenals get worn down. During this cleanse, Anthony William says it is very important not be be hungry. I felt very satisfied during the whole cleanse, even on day 9 which was an all liquid day.
In short, this cleanse suggests eating no fats, gluten, dairy, animal products.
Fats thicken your blood, which makes it harder for your liver to detox and do its job. When you have fat first thing in the morning, nut butters, avocado, olive oil, eggs, your liver still may be working on detoxing from what you ate last night. It then has to produce bile, which stops the cleansing process which your body was doing all night. These potions from the fat then go into the bloodstream and enter organs such as the brain.
It's good to give the liver a break from doing such hard work first thing in the morning.
Trigger foods = eggs, dairy, gluten, soft drinks, excessive salt, pork products, tuna, corn, industrial oils, soy, lamb, all fish and seafood, vinegar, fermented foods, caffeine, all grains (except millet and oats.)
I highly recommend trying out the 3:6:9 cleanse.
